Origami Ghosts has been a band since 2004. It was started by a singer and guitar player named JP Scesniak and a hammered dulcimer player named Joel Hanson. Now the band consists of JP, drummer/guitarist Amir Estakhrian, and synth/accordian player Kara Wiggert. The band has done two full-length albums and three national tours. People who have played on Origami Ghosts records and at live shows are: Brian "BKP" Parks (drums, guitar), Ki Johnsen (cello), James van Leuven (drums, recording), Kara Wiggert (synthesizer, accordion), and Jeremy Ward (drums, drum machine).
